Has SYLVESTER STALLONE had a Hair Transplant?

Sylvester Stallone hair transplant

Surely not! The Rocky and Rambo star is far too tough to be concerned with a little male pattern baldness, right? Well, apparently not. Sylvester Stallone‘s hair line is significantly lower than it was a few years back. He’s got fantastic hair for a man who’s just turned 70… but it’s a little too good. So what’s he done? Toupée? CGI? Hair transplant?

Early career – 1970s

Sylvester Stallone before hair transplant 1976Sly’s first major film role (No, I’m not talking about that porn film) was 1976‘s Rocky.

It’s brilliant. No, I’m not talking about the film (which admittedly is pretty good), I’m talking about his hair.

Rocky, which Stallone wrote himself, went on to win Best Picture, Best Directing, and Best Film Editing at that year’s Oscars. If there was an award for hair density and coverage, though, Sylvester Stallone would at least have been nominated.

And the Italian Stallion was back three years later for Rocky II. Aged 33 at the time, he still doesn’t appear to have lost a single hair. It seems even Apollo Creed couldn’t damage this 70’s bouffant.

Still has great hair – 1980s and beyond

Sylvester Stallone’s hair remained for Rocky 3, 4, and 5.

And it also remained for a whole host of other action films.

Blown up, shot at, punched, arm-wrestled, you name it – Sly’s hair survived it all.

And like Rich Piana, his hair has probably had to endure all kinds of androgenic compounds.

I mean, the man got caught with growth hormone in Australia in 2007. He was an action star known for his muscles during the 80’s when everyone was taking steroids.

Despite this, though, he always had a full head of hair.

Why, then, would he get a hair transplant?

It’s less noticeable when a star isn’t really losing his hair in the first place.

But trust me, you’d be surprised just how many people in Hollywood are getting hair transplants. Even guys who aren’t losing their hair are getting them.

And just look at Sylvester Stallone’s hair line today. Can you honestly say this is normal for someone who’s 70 years old?

Ok, there are some rare people out there who maintain their Norwood 1 hair line until the day they die.

But Sylvester Stallone’s hair line is actually lower than it was when he was 30!

Probably more than one, actually, to achieve such great density.

Now, people will say that it looks unnatural to have a 10 year old’s hair line when you’re 70.

But Sylvester Stallone looks pretty incredible for someone in his eighth decade on this planet. He also has a physique that defies his age (cough.. growth hormone), just as his hair does.

Sly, you didn’t need a hair transplant, but you got one anyway. Congratulations on winning the fight against hair loss!
